life of most soft tops is about 6 to 10 years it is not
usually cost effective to carry out repairs. |

how can I tell if it's a Mark 3, 4 or 5. |
That's easy just look inside
the vehicle if the interior light is between the sun visors
at the front of the car it's a Mark 3 or 4 but if the interior
light is set into the roll bar above the drivers head then
it's a Mark 5. |
| Can I re use the glass, heated
rear window. |
Yes most solid glass rear
windows are just re installed into the existing frame after
the new soft top has been fitted however it may be worth
fitting a new rubber seal at the same time. |

Yes all of our products are

| Will a mohair or cloth hood
last longer than a PVC hood. |
Generally a mohair or cloth
hood will last slightly longer than a PVC hood as it is
a woven three layer material that remains flexible for most
of it's useful life however most people will chose a cloth
hood for it's stunning appearance rather than it's durability |
| What if the hood leaks. |
It is unusual for water to
pass through most modern top quality hooding materials unless
the hood is actually damaged or worn out it is generally
recognised that most water leaks are caused through faulty
hood frames, seals, windows and doors. |
| What can I use to clean my
flexible PVC rear window. |
Soften the dirt with cold
or luke warm water before removing with a soft cloth. When
the PVC is dry it can be cleaned and polished with a specific
PVC window cleaner. A specific product is available from

and look after my PVC hood. |
Clean on a regular
basis avoiding mechanical car washes and strong cleaning
agents. PVC hoods can be cleaned with a mild solution of
top quality car shampoo flushed off with cold water afterwards.

my Mohair Cloth hood. |
Clean on a regular basis avoiding
mechanical car washes and strong cleaning agents. Use a
fine cold water spray over the cloth then brush off with
a good quality cloths or shoe brush. If a mild solution
of car shampoo is used do not spot clean but clean the whole
soft top making sure the shampoo is flushed off with cold
water afterwards. |
| Will a new soft top add to
the value of my convertible |
Most certainly yes. Try to
sell your convertible with an old worn out hood and see
how much people will try to knock down your asking price.
